If you care to upload them to the cloud, I'll take a look and see if I can find anything to fix the issue for you. I assume that you are also unable to sprinkle sparkle (glitter) at any point after Phantasmagoria as well, is this correct? If so, then any save game files (including the autosave) where you cannot spread glitter (even if it's after Phantasmagoria) might be helpful. If this doesn't apply to your case, I would be interested in seeing a copy of your save game files. So, if you have a save game while in Phantasmagoria, when you load it, does Misfortune automatically move to one of the sides of the game screen without you being able to stop her from moving? If so, once she reaches the edge of the game screen, can you then use the "F" key to sprinkle sparkle (glitter)? Normal save game files do not show Misfortune moving automatically once the save is loaded (she is stationary on the screen once the save game loads, even if she was moving as the save was created), so some glitch occurred for this gamer's save file, and we have not been able to replicate that issue either. We have not been able to replicate this bug which makes it difficult to determine what caused it and this makes it difficult to fix. The post discussing this solution was here. After that, the "F" key worked again (for me) to sprinkle sparkle (glitter) using his save game. One gamer reported this error in this bug thread and the solution was to wait until Misfortune automatically moved to the far left side of the game screen after that save was loaded. I'm sorry that you had trouble using glitter in Phantasmagoria. Everything else works, it's just like the glitter has disappeared. I can reload earlier saves and throw glitter anywhere, but sure enough in Phantasmagoria pressing Y does absolutely nothing. Originally posted by Xavier: Renegade Angel:Did you guys make any progress on the 'can't use glitter when getting to Phantasmagoria' bug? I see it mentioned in this thread but no actual workarounds or a fix. If you care to submit the additional information, I'll take a look and make any other suggestions that I think may help, but if you don't want to go to this trouble, you'll need to consider requesting a refund from Steam: I do hope that is not necessary, but it's important for you to know that is an option as well. I'd also like you to start up the Little Misfortune game and then open Task Manager and upload to the cloud screenshots of the Processes and Startup Tabs so I can see what is running when you're trying to play the game. If you've never obtained a DirectX Diagnostic Tool report, here's a link with instructions. You can upload it to the cloud and reply with another post in this thread with a link to the report file. If you want to troubleshoot further, I'll need to see a DirectX Diagnostic tool report. While updating those drivers is usually trouble-free, this update is done at your own risk, and it may not fix the issue for you. You can also check for the last update of your video card drivers and consider updating them if they are old. Instructions for Event Viewer may be found here. Is there any entry in your computer's Event Viewer / Windows Logs / Application Log for the Little Misfortune game? If yes, information about that entry may be helpful. Instructions for verifying the integrity of the game files are here. But the reinstall of the game should have fixed any corrupt file issues that may have caused the game not to start, so I don't hold much hope that will fix the problem for you. If that doesn't help, you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. If not, please do so now and then try to play the game again. Have you rebooted your computer since you downloaded and reinstalled the game? I know you said you rebooted the computer, but I'm not sure if you rebooted after the second install of the game. What is the maximum resolution of the monitor you are trying to play the game on? The usual fixes appear to have been done already by you. Those specs I believe mean that you're playing on a desktop (not laptop) computer. The game should start up within seconds of starting the game with those specs. Your computer has more than enough spec to play the Little Misfortune game. i tried install in other folder, it did not work. and reboot, and turn off anti-virus program, installed game again.īut still not working. So i deleted the game(The process was forced to end because game was not stopped), and deleted demo game too. I click that Stop button, and no response. so i bought this game.īut there is no response when click the start button.īutton say to me 'it's on playing.(stop)' but there is no game window even after 5 minutes. I played this game by demo and it's run well. Originally posted by 00700:i can't play this game.
